Cappelleria Bertacchi is run by the Bertacchi family from Siena (Italy). We started this business in the 80s and since then we opened two locations in Italy (Siena and Lucca) and another in Vancouver (Canada). We design hats inspired by classic Italian pieces from the 40s and 50s as well as we create innovative and unique items, playing a role of trendsetter together with other Italian design companies in Vancouver. We've grown our business by staying faithful to the tradition of Tuscan artisans: we only use organic highest-quality products and fabrics (straw, felt, Merino wool) carefully spun and woven by skilled manufacturers in our ateliers in Tuscany.

We've started to offer a few other Italian handmade products to expand our selection: handcrafted ties, bow-ties and pocket-squares, scarves, sunglasses, soaps, umbrellas, all designed and produced in Italy. Further to an agreement with the Trade Ministry of British Columbia to develop craftsmanship and incorporate a business in the Province of BC, in 2015 we opened the Canadian branch in Gastown, Vancouver: over the last five years the company’s mandate has been to share the tradition of the Tuscan artisan manufacture with the local community. Since then, Cappelleria Bertacchi counts with multiple collaborations with Vancouver’s renowned organizations and corporations such as the Italian Chamber of Commerce, Italian General Consulate, Deighton Cup, DanceHouse, Style by Sarai, Fleur Luxury Wedding Show and Forum, among others.
